Taste of Italy Calgary 2026 – Event Videography by HWSHOOT
On September 13, 2026, Calgary came alive with Italian food, music, fashion, art, and culture at the 5th Annual Taste of Italy Calgary Festival. HWSHOOT was excited to be part of this vibrant community event, providing professional event videography in Calgary and capturing some of the atmosphere, people, performances, and special moments throughout the day.
The festival took place at the Bridgeland Riverside Community Association and welcomed Calgarians to experience a little piece of Italy without leaving the city. Taste of Italy Calgary is organized by a not-for-profit society dedicated to celebrating Italian culture and cuisine while providing a platform for local Italian businesses, restaurants, artists, and performers. The festival began in 2022 and has since become an annual celebration of Calgary’s Italian community.
Visitors experienced Italian food, live music, dancing, art, family activities and entertaining competitions including pizza making, grape stomping and pasta eating. This year’s event also featured a classic Italian car show, Speaker’s Corner and a special Italian-inspired fashion showcase.
Capturing the Taste of Italy Fashion Show
One of the highlights we had the opportunity to film was the festival’s Italian-inspired fashion show, curated by Brilliant Events & Celebrations. The runway combined stylish looks, timeless designs and Italian influence as part of the festival’s celebration of fashion, creativity and culture.
