Event Photographer Calgary – Ukrainian Radio UCAN Birthday Celebration
Looking for an Event Photographer Calgary clients can rely on for both photography and videography? HWSHOOT recently joined the Ukrainian Radio UCAN birthday celebration in Calgary to provide professional video coverage of the event. Although videography was the primary service booked for the evening, our team also had some additional time and decided to capture a selection of photographs as a complimentary gift for the client.
At HWSHOOT, event coverage is about more than simply completing the requested service. Our goal is to provide a strong overall client experience and, whenever possible, add something extra that makes the final result even more memorable.
More Than Just Event Photography
Sometimes the extra value we provide is a few additional photographs, extra video clips, or another small creative addition. During the UCAN Radio celebration, photography became that additional gift alongside the professional video coverage.
The UCAN Radio birthday celebration brought together guests, music, entertainment and a lively nighttime atmosphere. Events like this are exactly where professional photography and videography work together to preserve not only what happened, but also the energy of the evening.

Professional Equipment for Every Event
Event venues can have very different lighting conditions. Some locations are bright and open, while others rely almost entirely on low ambient light, stage lighting or colourful club lighting. HWSHOOT works with professional photography and video equipment as well as multiple portable lighting solutions.
This gives our team the flexibility to work in restaurants, clubs, corporate spaces, private venues, outdoor locations and larger event spaces while maintaining a consistent professional result.
Our mobile setup also allows HWSHOOT to respond to changing conditions throughout an event, whether we are capturing posed photographs, candid moments, speakers, DJs, performances or general atmosphere.
